On October 11, 2023, I gave a public lecture for the School of Visual Arts's Design Research, Writing, and Criticism program. The talk, which consisted of two parts, opened with a look back on the origins of Scratching the Surface before using the podcast as a lens to talk about a theory of publishing and writing.
